Irshad Nasreen, Pakistani advocate was kidnapped on the 14th of August 2020. She is a daughter, wife, and mother of six. She was kidnapped, tortured, and gang-raped. According to the given details, she was kidnapped to sign a black paper. She is a lawyer and she was abducted for a case she was doing. She belonged to Okara and kidnapped from her workplace.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ADV. NASREEN?
An advocate from okara name as Irshad Nasreen has abducted from her workplace. Accused kidnapped her, torture her, and not enough she has gone through gang rape for four days. Then they threw her on a road. She was found near Dhoda Road, Mailsi. She was tortured for four days. Police said that she was found in a semi-conscious state with her hands and legs tied. Her mouth was also tied with a piece of cloth so she was also difficult in speaking. According to her, she doesn’t know her predators.
Firstly, the police officer registered an FIR of her kidnapping and torture. Then she was shifted to Dipalpur tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital. A special team is hired for the investigation of this case. PM IMRAN KHAN also has taken an action to this tragic incident.
Shehzad Akbar, assistant of PM Imran Khan has uploaded a video on Twitter by saying that PM has ordered police, official investigating teams to find the culprits soon. We all are waiting to see them get punished.
Earlier today, PBC (Pakistan Bar Council) has said that it is so worrisome that such kidnapping and torture happening with lawyers are increasing day. It is also added by PBC that five lawyers had been shot dead in a targeted killing. Where four were from Punjab and one from Sindh. In short, lawyers are pressurized now and they are going through danger. Lawlessness is not acceptable in any case. This is totally unacceptable and this has led police and investigating workers to take action and arrest culprits as soon as possible
moreover, The public has all of their sympathies with the victim and they protest for her on social media. A new hashtag of justice for a new victim is trending. Such cases are increasing day by day and pubic is very offended. Students, professionals, and working people all are very scared. Circumstances are very bad nowadays. Recently, a student Hayat Baloch has been killed, doctoral student Nadia Ashraf have committed suicide, a doctor maha shah has committed suicide, and now Advocate Nasreen.
