The third spell of thunderstorms, rain predicted today in Karachi 

According to Pakistan meteorological department third spell of thunderstorms, heavy rain predicted today in Karachi. However, (PMD) has predicted the beginning of a third heavy rainy spell in Karachi from today 27 July (Saturday).

The season of monsoon rains is likely to enter Karachi from July 27 till 28 July. According to Pakistan metrological department, 20-25 mm rain is expected in different areas of Karachi today during the third spell of monsoon rains.

Spell of thunderstorms predicted in the city. Some of the areas receive drizzle at some of its localities on Saturday morning. However, Drizzle observed at Saddar, Liaquatabad, Chundrigar Road area in Karachi.
Earlier, The Pakistan Meteorological Department (MET) has predicted that the third spell of thunder monsoon rains likely to hit the city between July 26 and 27 July 2020.

Third spell of monsoon heavy rains to hit Karachi:

Throughout the second spell of monsoon rain, Karachi citizens suffered immense difficulties while traveling through the flooded roads which created huge traffic jams. The roads including Shahrea Faisal, Bahadurabad, Jama Cloth market, Star Gate, Hassan Square, Guru Mandir, Nursery, Regent Plaza, do talwar, Liquatabad, NIPA roundabout, Defence, Clifton, Boat Basin, and many others.

The first second spell of heavy rains had wreaked havoc in the city. Residents faced load-shedding. Due to load shedding, citizens also faced water shortage .according to officials now the K-Electric had made improvements in its system ahead of thunderstorms.

Dusty winds rain lightning thunderstorms rains are likely to continue for the next two days according to the Meteorological Department.

Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms recently dozens of people lost their precious life in multiple incidents in Karachi. People would have difficulties in markets to buy sacrificial animals during the rainy weather ahead of Eidul Azha. In this regard, citizens should be careful. Heavy Rains takes lives and causes lots of damage including the loss of human life and power outages in different parts of the city. The maximum temperature recorded in Karachi was 34 degrees Celsius today whereas humidity in the air remains 58 percent.

The Pakistan metrological department chief Sardar Sarfaraz said A low-pressure area is expected in India’s Gujrat on July 27. However, the previous two spells would enter Pakistan through Indian Rann of Kutch. The heavy rain may also affect the sea’s southwestern wind.
