The latest LiFi technology with a speed of 42 gigabits per/sec.

NETHERLANDS: Experts at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands have successfully take a trial experiment with data transfer at a speed of 40 gigabits per second via LiFi technology. This is more than 100 times speedy than the world’s fastest Wi-Fi technology.

Wi-Fi technology uses radio waves from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz for transferring from one place to another. This speed is almost the same as using a mobile phone.

On the other hand, the Wi-Fi connection uses special light-emitting LEDs that can transmit data. This is a much slower rate than Wi-Fi technology.

According to details published in the Journal of Lightwave Technology and IEEE Explore, Juan Oh and his colleagues at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands have successfully developed a new type of Wi-Fi technology that uses red rays (infrared rays) instead of light. It communicates with the help of infrared waves and its speed is surprisingly high than Wi-Fi technology.

This new technology is named as LiFi technology. This LiFi technology is the world’s fastest way to communicate from one place to another.
