Sindh confirmed 19 more deaths from coronavirus 

Sindh confirmed 19 more deaths from coronavirus. On May 19, As many as 706 new cases of the coronavirus are confirmed in Sindh over the past 24 hours. Rising the tally of infections to 17, 947 across the province.

Nineteen more people died from the infection in the previous 24 hours, taking the number of fatalities to 299 in the province.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said 706 new infections were detected when 3,803 samples were tested.
He said 135 corona patients are in critical condition, of the 34 are on ventilators.

The situation is getting critical. An emergency should be imposed in Sindh as the economic situation has become alarming, opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi said on Tuesday.

The chief minister Murad Ali Shah said a total of 12,907 patients are under treatment, 11,373 are in home isolation, 715 at various hospitals, and 819 at isolation centers. He revealed 2252 more patients have been cured and discharged to their homes happily.

Murad Ali Shah said, The number of people who have recovered from the disease stands at 4,741.
PTI ‘s Firdous Shamim Naqvi Addressing the media said, that the situation in Sindh is decline rapidly, therefore, there was nothing wrong with imposing a governor’s rule in the province.

Sindh government affirm that it has spent billions of rupees on the health sector, however, they have failed to show the exact trail of the expenditure.
Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that the provincial government has not shared any plan on how they will bring back Sindh’s economy that has been affected badly during the extended lockdown.

He further said all the frontline workers, including doctors, will be sent on holidays after the pandemic is over.
