Prime Minister Imran Khan announces to ease lockdown from Saturday 

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reported a step by step lockdown in the country from Saturday, May 9.

A meeting of the National Coordinating Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which the Chief Ministers of the provinces also take part. The meeting considered easing the lockdown and also considered different rules and regulations (SOPs) for opening a business.

SOPs will be different according to the type of business.

The government has decided for the public not to open train and bus services for the time being all over Pakistan. The government has decided local flight operations will also remain closed within the country. The National Command and Operations Center also presented their recommendations in this regard.

Imran Khan also nation announced to open the lockdown from Saturday. He said that although the death toll from Corona is increasing in Pakistan most of the people are below average in poverty. He also said that taxes have been reduced by 35% and exports have been also reduced.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that after reciting two Nafal in Ramadan,

one should give thanks to Allah, like the disaster that has to overtake other countries, Allah has kept Pakistan safe.

Imran Khan also said that we will face the situation as a nation by showing responsibilities as the citizen of Pakistan. If people do not do so and the cases of corona rise again, the country will have to close again. We do not want to force people by commanding.

Police cannot be imposed SOPs on the people by force.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also challenge that the government has given relief to the people about the prices of petroleum products. And these prices in Pakistan are the cheapest petrol in the entire subcontinent.
