A Pulmonologist of Pakistani origin Dr. Saud Anwar, he is also a State Senator in the Connecticut State Senate. Dr, Saud Anwar has developed a 3D splitter device.
Dr. Saud Anwar made it possible with the help of splitter it is possible to operate 7 patients to treat through a single ventilator. COVID -19 cases in the US was increasing in the last month. States from California and New York began to stock the ventilators.
Those patients who are on their initial stages of COVID-19 do not need it. But it is a life savior for those who are facing breathing issues.
Dr. Saud Anwar and his two friends Kevin Dyer of InterPro and Robert Conley were working on this project. They developed a simple splitter device which can increase the capacity of number up to 7 critical patients at the same time.
This team has made the design of splitter so easy so anyone can develop their 3D splitter. This device design has been downloaded 1000 times in 100 countries.
