Boston dynamic Robot dog will be set in Singapore parks to encourage social distancing 

Robot dog will patrol the parks and other public places to encourage social distancing amid coronavirus pandemic.

The Singapore government is seeking to encourage people to practice social distancing by using a popular robot dog. As the country is plagued with problems amid the wave of the coronavirus.

A remote operator will manage Spot and the robot sensors will help it avoid people. And barriers in its path as it patrols.
On Friday 9 May 2020, The government announced that it will locate Spot, Boston Dynamics’ famous yellow and black robot at a local park. The robot dog will look after the park. And broadcast a pre-recorded message to people, reminding them of the importance of staying away from each other.
Singapore government agency said that these cameras would not be able to track or recognize any specific individual and no personal data will be collected.

According to the Singaporean government
They will test the project in one park, during off-peak hours, for two weeks. If it becomes an ultimate hit, then authorities may consider enlarging the program to other locations.
This robot dog can make coronavirus testing faster. Robot dogs help doctors to asses coronavirus patients.

In March, Singapore came up with a nationwide contact detect app that helps users find out if they came into proximity with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus. According to Boston Dynamics, the Spot robot is usually used for surveying.
